Dr. Runnels was extremely helpful when checking my dog for a uti. She’s knowledgeable and caring and the clinic’s Fear Free approach was greatly appreciated! I love that the clinic employs RVTs on staff and all clinic staff is  knowledgeable and everyone has taken Fear Free courses. They do things by the book and are very thorough. Mariposa is the best vet clinic I've been to, and I've been to many. The vets and staff are amazing, and they utilize standard medical practices as well as holistic practices to treat all animals to the best of their abilities. When no one else could figure out what was wrong with my dog, Mariposa correctly diagnosed her by the second visit and gave us a shockingly simple solution that prolonged her life by 4 years. (And for a giant breed dog, that's HUGE!) One of the biggest differences I noticed when I started going there is the lack of pressured up-selling. I've never once been pushed into extra treatments for pets or been shamed for not being able to afford the best option for an animal. They lay out all the options and tell you what they recommend if money is no object, and what they recommend if you are on a tight budget. And there's no judgement about which you choose. I can't rave enough about their vets, their staff, or their clinic. They are wonderful people who treat every animal as if it's their own favorite pet, and I won't go anywhere else.

We love taking our goldens to Mariposa. I recommend them to others as a top notch veterinarian. In fact they provide such outstanding care appointments are necessary well in advance. I love the personal experience and attention to detail during examinations as well as the genuine care and compassion for our fur kids. We love Mariposa. We have brought our Cocker Spaniel here for years.  We have Dr. Carrier & he is wonderful. I always feel better after an appointment with Dr Runnels (& staff). She's honest. My dog is 14 so that's appreciative. Doesn't perform unnecessary testing. Very safe environment. Wouldn't go anywhere else. We've been going here for 10 years.

Dr. Carrier took amazing care of my gecko! Highly recommend him and this place if you have an exotic pet. They are so kind and compassionate.
